What is Fitbit Air?
Fitbit Air is Google's smallest Fitbit tracker. All the electronics sit in a pill-shaped plastic "pebble" with no screen, which tracks heart rate, sleep and activity around the clock and syncs everything to your phone. The pebble pops into a band from below and pushes out from the top, so changing your strap takes seconds.
How much does Fitbit Air cost in India?
₹13,999. That is noticeably more than the $99.99 US price once currency conversion and local taxes are counted, so it is worth watching for bank offers at launch.
What can Fitbit Air track?
With an optical heart-rate sensor, motion sensors, red and infrared sensors for blood oxygen and a temperature sensor, Fitbit Air covers all-day activity, workouts, heart rate and sleep. With no screen to light up, battery life stretches to about a week, and quick charging gets you through a day after five minutes on the charger.
Which strap should you pair with Fitbit Air?
Fitbit Air ships with the textile Performance Loop band. Because the tracker swaps between bands in seconds, a second strap is the easiest way to make it fit your day:
- Ribbed Silicone Sport Band for the gym, sweat and swimming.
- Slim Woven Band with Metal Case for the office.
- Sport Bicep Armband for lifting and running.
- Charging Dock Stand to keep the tracker upright while it charges.

How do you change the Fitbit Air band?
Push down on top of the tracker to pop it out, then press it into the new band from below until it clicks and double-tap to check. Our step-by-step band swap guide covers it in detail.
